Tennis Programme

Please see the list of regular scheduled sessions below. For details of our children's / Junior sessions, please see our Coaching page. At other times the courts are free for use by all members, although League matches (generally 10am to 2pm on some Sundays) take precedence over other play.

Club sessions are open to all adult members. Juniors wishing to attend Club sessions can ask a member of the Committee. Please note that children under the age of 13 must be supervised by a parent, carer or guardian at all times.

Guests are always very welcome to play at the club. Please add them when you book the court on ClubSpark, at which point you will be able to pay by card. It's £5 per adult and £2.50 per child. If bringing a guest to a social tennis session, then please pay cash to a committee member or pay by BACS transfer. Please note that the club’s public liability insurance only covers guests who have paid the guest fee. Non-members wishing to play can book a court through ClubSpark (£20 per court for a maximum of two hours).

Please be tennis specific in your choice of clothing and always wear proper tennis shoes (no crocs or flipflops). Black soled shoes mark the courts and is difficult to remove.

We currently have men's and ladies' teams in the Tennis Sussex Wilson Sandford Doubles Leagues. We are always keen to hear from those interested in playing matches so please do get in touch with our Club Captain, Kate Hunter (ktedegroot@aol.com).

Many players find it useful to self-assess their level of tennis ability, to help identify relevant sessions and activities in which to participate and find other players of a similar level with whom to play. Please use the LTA guide below which identifies and describes different levels of tennis ability. If you are unsure which rating to put yourself in, then please ask a member of our coaching team to help you.
