TO WILTSHIRE COACHES, CLUB & SCHOOL CONTACTS
Hi all
The Road to Wimbledon is a junior tournament that gives 14U players the opportunity to progress through to compete on the world famous grass courts at Wimbledon. We are keen to raise the profile of this event in Wiltshire and would love lots of clubs, parks and schools to hold a event and give your club players/pupils a chance to play at Wimbledon.
It starts at the club/park/school level in each County. The winners of each club/school/park event qualify for the County Finals in July and then the winners of the County Finals qualify for the Finals at Wimbledon in August.
This is a fantastic opportunity for your club players as it is for your members/pupils rated between 10.2 and 7.1. For stronger rated players (6.2 or higher) there is the Road to Wimbledon Regional/International event which players must enter directly (see bottom of email for more details).
This is a fantastic opportunity for your 14U players to progress through to compete on at Wimbledon and you have until 28th February to register your event. The entry fee is £15 for a girls or boys event, or £25 in total if entering both a girls and boys event. Please find attached the flyers with more information.

ROAD TO WIMBLEDON REGIONAL/INTERNATIONAL
If your club has 14U players rated 6.2 and higher (6.1, 5.2 etc.) please encourage them to enter their GB regional qualification event on 22–23 June. Players must enter and pay via the LTA ‘Find a Competition’ system. Further information is available at www.LTA.org.uk/roadtowimbledon

Wiltshire Ladies Vets sessions Wiltshire currently have teams competing in the National Over 35,40’s, 50’s,60’s and 65’s competitions and are hoping to enter a further team in the Over 55’s. for the 2019 season.
We have scheduled 3 practices for all interested parties
· Sunday Dec 16th 2-4 pm at the Delta Centre ,Swindon
· Saturday Jan 5th. 11-1pm Delta Centre Swindon
· Sunday 10th Feb Riverside Club, Salisbury (time to be confirmed)
