Ayr Fort Tennis

Our six all weather tennis courts at Ayr Fort can be found in a secluded setting near to the historical St. John’s Tower. 

 The refurbishment of our Ayr Fort Courts is part of a nationwide investment by the UK Government and LTA Tennis Foundation, delivered by the LTA, to refurbish public tennis courts across Great Britain, and open up the sport to many more people. We have also had investment by South Ayrshire Council’s Coastal Communities Fund, Barr Environmental through the Scottish Landfill Communities Fund and Prestwick Tennis and Fitness. 

Alongside the investment, South Ayrshire Council and Prestwick Tennis & Fitness will also work with the LTA to deliver a range of activities across the park sites. This will include  organised free park tennis sessions for all playing levels with equipment provided, coaching for both juniors and adults, and also the ability for members & non members to book courts.
