JUNIOR COACHING
Coaching at Balerno is run jointly by Wendy McKenzie (Level 3 LTA coach) and Eoin Swan (Level 4 LTA coach).
Wendy is a Level 3 LTA coach and has recently taken over the junior group coaching on Friday afternoons.
Eoin Swan joined us in 2020 to provide additional coaching block for juniors as well as holiday camps. Eoin is a Level 4 LTA coach and has been successful in building a large junior squad at Hatton.

FRIDAY AFTERNOON - JUNIOR COACHING (Wendy McKenzie)
Friday afternoon coaching from 19 April to 21 June 2024
For those under 12, please book into same class as last term as follows,
- 1-1:45pm - Red level for 7yrs & under
- 1:45-2:30pm - Orange level for 8-10yrs, introductory level
- 2:30-3:15pm - Orange / Green level for 8-11yrs
- 3:15-4pm - Yellow ball level for 12 yrs and above
The age groups above are guidelines and ability/experience are taken into account. If in doubt, please don't hesitate to email, call or text me for more details!
All children need to have a junior membership at Balerno Tennis Club.
In order to confirm your child's booking & to complete the register, please send the following information for each player emailed to me:

Saturday 9am-10am Red Ball (5-8yrs)
Saturday 10am-11am Orange Ball (9-11yrs)
Saturday 11am-12noon Green Ball (11+yrs)
Saturday 12noon-1pm Yellow Ball (11+yrs)
Monday term sessions to start on 6 May 2024.
Monday 4-5pm Red and Orange Ball

We will look at 3rd course 6-7pm if numbers allow.
