Booking Terms

Use. Banbury Lawn Tennis Club (BLTC) is the sole Tenant and has exclusive right of use of the Property, which includes all 6 tennis courts. The Landlord is Banbury Town Council, which in turn is a tenant of the Head Landlord, Oxford County Council.

All persons using the Property are bound by the Terms governed in all tenancies.

All facility users are responsible for their own safety, especially during inclement weather or adverse conditions. The Property may only be used for tennis.

Public Use. BLTC provides the use of one court for Public Use at reduced rates, except during legitimate Club activities. These activities include Club nights (normally Tuesdays and Fridays), coaching, tournaments etc when BLTC has priority usage. BLTC maintains insurance for its own activities and is responsible for arranging equipment maintenance such as netting, lighting etc.

Furthermore, Public Use prohibits any subsidiary non-Club business actitivites on the Property, including coaching for hire or reward by non-Club affiliated coaches.

Consequently, Public Users are responsible for their own activities and BLTC will not be held responsible for injuries etc however so caused.

Banbury Town Council sets a reduced rate for the Public Use court. Public Users are able to book other courts at the normal BLTC rate. Floodlighting is at an extra cost, will be automatically enabled on booking and will not be refunded unless cancelled. Booking, payment and cancellation for all tennis is via the LTA Clubspark electronic booking system.

PhotographyPlease be aware that you may be recorded or photographed when using the courts. By entering the Property you are agreeing to give Banbury Lawn Tennis Club, Rosie Clark Tennis Coaching Ltd and the Lawn Tennis Association Ltd (and its group companies) permission to use your likeness and/or image, including those likenesses or images of any users entering the court, at any time for promotional purposes including, but not limited to, print, web, television, film, enhanced DVD/CD distribution or other storage media.
