Introduction

Welcome to Bankfoot Tennis Club

Bankfoot Tennis Club is a small, thriving and friendly club situated in the village of Bankfoot, 8 miles north of Perth.  It was established in 1927 and has 2 all-weather floodlit hard courts, which were refurbished in 2021, a practice/junior court and an inviting Clubhouse.

The Club holds regular social tennis club nights, informal round robin games, junior training for Nursery and Primary-aged children and Ladies, Gents and Mixed doubles teams play in Perth and District leagues, during the summer months.  We have access to two LTA registered coaches who will take individual or group coaching sessions.

The courts are open and available for members and pay-to-play daily from 9am until 10pm, throughout the year.  Club nights run Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 6pm, mainly during the summer months.  Junior training, which is taken by volunteers, is held on Wednesdays from 3.15 - 6pm (April to October, term-time only) and Thursday evenings from 6pm are match nights.  We offer free use of the courts to all for the month of April.

A Members opt-in WhatsApp group was introduced in 2020, which is used to organise playing times and opponents.

An Annual Get-Together evening is held in the local pub, with other smaller events throughout the year.

Moving forward, the Club has recently purchased a ball machine and is introducing Pickleball as a new activity from 2022

Bankfoot Tennis Club is non-profit making and run by volunteers.
