Everyone is welcome
We are a thriving and progressive tennis club with a simple but firm belief and that is, tennis really is for everyone regardless of age or ability.
Whether you are taking up tennis for the first time, getting back into tennis, looking for high-performance competition or considering that perfect sport for your little ones, our membership and playing structure is designed to fulfil your needs all within a relaxed, warm and friendly environment.
Off court, we provide a full calendar of popular social events for all age groups, there really is something for everyone at Banstead Downs.

All coaching is carried out by CP TENNIS, Head Coach Cliff Porter and his team run both junior and adult group lessons from Monday to Saturday along with junior group holiday courses. Individual coaching for juniors and adult members of all ages and abilities are available on request.
We run internal competitions throughout the year and hold several fun themed tournaments through the year.
We place a strong emphasis on team tennis where we have a number of men’s, ladies and mixed teams that compete in the Wilson Surrey Leagues, LTA National League and Dorking & Leatherhead League.
Banstead Downs is also an official venue for the LTA County Cup 14U qualifying event, something of which we are immensely proud.
We run a host of social events throughout the year, these range from themed tennis/food events, quiz nights etc. We also run themed junior fun events along with family focused social events.
