Bar Lawn Tennis Society

Welcome to the Bar Lawn Tennis Society. 

The objective of the Society is to promote the playing and enjoyment of lawn tennis amongst members of the Bench and Bar of England and Wales, including the playing of matches.  

Our tennis season starts in May and runs through to September with a mixture of  matches and tournaments to suit all standards of play. These include matches against Roehampton, Moor Park, the Law Society, the Irish Bar, the French Bar and the US Bar. The Society’s tournaments include the Broughton Salver (women’s singles), Risley Cup (men’s singles), the Neill Trophy (mixed doubles) and the Hargreaves Cup (inter-inns doubles tournament). The Society’s club night is played at Lincoln’s Inn Fields. The full calendar of events for 2023 can be found in the fixtures tab.
