This is the LTA’s event to increase tennis participation. You may have read in a previous news article that we are taking part in this on the 8th July to take advantage of the Barley Village Show. Our objective is to promote the club and increase the playing membership.

The main event is a target tennis competition where a ball machine fires balls and the objective is to hit them through a target. We are hoping this will prove popular and to increase interest we are offering cash prizes; £15 to the winner!

This is being organised by Jack Shepherd and he really needs help from members to make this run smoothly. There will be 2 ball machines in operation and we need someone on a reception desk to take names and contact details so we can follow up. Ideally we need 5 people at any one time.
