Improved Barley Singles Box Leagues for Autumn 2024

Following useful feedback, the aim of the revamped adult singles box leagues is to develop the participation, enjoyment, range of skills and fitness of players covering all abilities. The first round starts from the 9th September and closes on the 31st October.

Women’s Box League

Men’s Box League

Mixed Box League

Players have the option to take part in both their own gender league and the mixed.

League points as before, one for taking part and 2 more for winning the match. The number of games won will determine league positions if points are tied.

Matches are either one set with a 6-6 tie break or a best of 3 sets, which should be decided before starting.

Previously registered box league players will be contacted by email regarding their preferences.
