Sunday 9th October 2016 saw Barley win their second ever league title in claiming the Mixed Division II title in the Essex Small Clubs Summer League.
   After a hard fought season, a team consisting of team captain Jamie Gibbs (2nd right) and Sophie Emerson (far right), Joe Zygmunt and Carole Turner clinched a 8-8 draw at home to Braughing to spark congratulations and clinch the title finishing on 108 points for the season, and therefore gaining promotion to Division I.
   Thanks also goes to Jack Shepherd, Andrew Geddes and Rosie Shaw for their contributions throughout the season and onwards and upwards we go as we now enter the Winter season.
