Yorkshire Tennis Annual Awards Night 2018

Several BLTC members attended the Yorkshire Tennis presentation night at the Holiday Inn, Garforth on 10.12.18. to watch an impressive line up of Yorkshire tennis players, officials, volunteers, coaches and clubs receive  their respective awards.

LTA Deputy President David Rawlinson presented BLTC  Chairman, Chris Day & Vice Chair Malcolm Bird, with the prestigious “Yorkshire Club of the Year” award.  The British Tennis awards are always keenly contested and with 165 Clubs in Yorkshire it is a tremendous achievement for BLTC to be awarded Yorkshire Tennis Club of the Year for 2018.

BLTC has also won the Sheffield & District Club of the year award for 2018.  Both awards recognise the fantastic progress the Club has made in transforming its facilities, growing its membership and in its commitment to junior development. The Club are determined to build on this success and look forward to continued membership support enabling furhter developments in future years.
