PUBLIC PICKLEBALL MEETING
Many thanks to all those who attended our meeting, please find a brief recap below:
There will be 6 further free Pickleball Tasters offered:
- Tues 3/6, and 10/6, 6pm until 8pm
- Fri 6/6 and 13/6, 6pm until 8pm
- Sat 7/6 and 14/6, 10am until 12pm
These will be supervised by club members, with tennis members welcome to join in. Following on from these sessions interested parties would be expected to join the club to continue. Members will be able to play both tennis and pickleball.
Membership will be available for £40 per year for the first year, not including tennis voting rights. Pickleball members would be responsible for organising their own groups at the designated times in the future.
Dafydd Brown took on the responsibility of setting up a Pickle ball WhatsApp group, anyone interested in joining this, please contact us.

Barry Athletic Tennis Club is a family-friendly club based on Paget Road, Barry Island, just behind the promenade. We are run by a committee of volunteers, with all funds reinvested back into facilities and club activities. Founded in 1913 and one of Wales' oldest clubs, we provide a range of tennis oppoprtunities. Our facilities include 4 courts (1 under renovation) and a pavilion which boasts perfect viewing of the action, a lounge, kitchen, changing room and toilets. We also have a car park accessible to full members when playing at the club.
