Anyone for Tennis?
Basildon Tennis Club exists for anyone who is interested in playing tennis; whether you want to play at a social level or want to improve in order to play at a competitive level. You can do all of this at BTC!
We run year-round coaching, club mornings/evenings and match play. If you have any queries or would just like to talk to someone to understand if the club is able to offer what you need, please email us on contactbasildontc@gmail.com and we will be in touch.
As a Club, we take our responsibilities to the community seriously. The courts need constant maintenance and we have taken responsibility for this on behalf of us all. All membership fees and profits from all events we organise, go straight into the sinking fund to help maintain this village amenity to the highest standard. The courts are being used more than ever before, and so we hope you will join us in helping to keep them in top condition.
Here is what a typical week looks like in the Summer season:
Monday 18.00 - dark Mixed league fixtures - alternate weeks (starting in May)
Tuesday F R E E
Wednesday 09.15-10.15 Social Tennis (invite) all year round
Thursday 18.00 - dark Ladies league fixtures - alternate weeks (starting in May)
Friday FREE
Saturday 10.00-12.00 Squad Training (adhoc) 13.00 – 16.00 Ladies/Mens League Matches (adhoc)
Sunday 10.00-12.00 Club Morning - match play...courts reserved for members to arrange your own games
16.00-17.30 Older Junior match play

Teams in the Leagues
Summer
Our Ladies Team play in the Newbury District League and the Berkshire league.
We have 2 Mixed Teams playing in the Newbury District and the Berkshire League. We have 1 Mens Team in the Berkshire league.
Winter
We have a Ladies and Mixed A Team in the Berkshire league, plus a Mixed B team in the Newbury District League.
Guest Fees
Just a quick reminder that if you book a court during the "Club only" times and play with a non-member, you need to pay a £3 guest fee which you can transfer via the BTC bank account (Sort code 30-96-96 A/c 56885960)
