Batley Sports & Tennis Centre

KAL are delighted to announce that we have partnered with We Do Tennis CIC to operate the tennis facilities and coaching at Batley Sports and Tennis Centre as from 2nd June 2025.

This transition will allow tennis specialists to focus on improving both the tennis facilities and activity, for the benefit of the local community.

Speaking on behalf of We Do Tennis CIC, director Matt Whitaker commented; “We are hugely excited to be involved in the partnership with KAL, building on the existing programmes that are already in place, and offering opportunities for people to get into tennis whatever their age or standard. As a not-for-profit organisation, aimed with increasing tennis participation, we can’t wait to get started. As a teenager, I played at Batley Sports and Tennis Centre when it first opened, and am thrilled that we have now been tasked with running the tennis activity on behalf of KAL.”

As part of these changes Pay & Play bookings on the outdoor courts have been reduced by 50% to only £4 per hour, per court, and indoor courts are £13.20 per hour, per court.

Tennis court bookings and coaching (both adult & junior) classes, are now available to be booked through the We Do Tennis website, which can be found here www.wedotennis.co.uk/batley
