Bedfield and Monk Soham Tennis Club

Welcome to the Bedfield and Monk Soham Tennis Club website.

We are a small, inclusive, friendly club situated in the pleasant surrounds of the Bedfield and Monk Soham Playing Field. We have a single, macadam court which has been newly resurfaced.

The Club is affiliated to the Lawn Tennis Association (LTA). This offers the Club and its members a number of benefits including:  booking, payments and communication systems,  Public Liability Insurance and free LTA membership for all club members, plus a whole lot more.  
 

How to join: To become a member of this Club you will first need to register with the LTA by completing a form which can be found at https://www.lta.org.uk/register/.  Once you have registered you will be able to access our Club's website BedfieldandMonkSohamTennisClub, set up by ClubSpark on behalf of the LTA.  You can then choose the appropriate membership category via the Membership page. We have four categories of of membership:  Family, Adult, Junior, Supporter. This year we are offering a half yearly membership in all categories in order to transition to a full membership year on 1st April 2026.  Once  you have selected your membership option, you will be taken to a payments page, with subscriptions paid, via Stripe, with a credit or debit card. It's simple to book a court using the club’s website and the Bookings page. You can also download the ClubSpark Booker app onto your phone. Courts can be booked in half hour slots for up to two hours and up to three weeks in advance.  

Access to the courts is via a code for the gate padlock - this is sent to you via an e-mail confirmation when you have booked a court. Padlock codes change from time to time so please always check the information on your court booking confirmation.

Please join the Club's WhatsApp chat to receive and exchange information, look for playing partners, and notify us when intending to participate in Club Sessions (see separate page).

We have recently introduced a Ladder system to provide an opportunity for members to play games with other members.  The first to be set up is a 'Gentle Doubles Ladder' for doubles.  Please contact us via the WhatsApp group if you would like to join or find a partner.
