George Bishton a regular Walking Footballer at Beechcroft sadly passed away earlier this year and shortly after his family contacted us.
George had generously bequest a donation to be left to Beechcroft upon his death. We are greatly moved by George and his familys sentiment and have installed a new memorial plaque in his memory on a bench over looking the pitch he used to play on. The £2000 donation will go towards keeping the club functioning to provide many different sports, not just walking football, so that we can service the wider community in even more areas.
His sister Jean said "I know that George really benefitted from your sessions, and would be pleased to help to keep it going and spread its reach."
