Frequently asked questions

Q: If a session gets cancelled due to rain/unsafe courts, will I receive a refund?

A: You will first be asked if you would mind being Creddited the session and it carrying over into the following terms coaching, but if you would prefer a refund it can be offered at the end of the full term.

 

Q: My Child can only play for 4/6 sessions, can I do 'Pay and Play'?

A: Although we do not offer 'Pay and Play' to try and keep numbers regular, if you contact Ben ahead of the term with knowledge that only a set amount of sessions can be attended, Ben will only charge for the sessions that have been specified for booking as long as its done in advance.

 

Q: Can I leave my child at the venue and return at the end of the session.

A: Yes! Ben has all the Safeguarding training and insurance to allow you to leave your child on court if you feel safe to do so, the only exception to this is if an under 16 is coaching 1-1 with Ben, then and Adult needs to be present for the session.

 

Q: Will play stop if its raining half way through a session?

A: Ben has plenty of colouring/indoor activities he can do if needed to go indoors. However he will aim to try and get players out on court for as long as he can each session so bring appropriate Clothing.

 

Q: My Child doesnt have a racket, can we borrow one?

A: Yes Absolutely, Ben has a range of different sized rackets so feel free to come along and try before committing to getting all the gear yourself, but long term its better for players to have their own equipment.

 

Q: Will there be opportunities for my child to play more competetive tennis?

A: Yes, Ben plans on finishing each block of lesson by playing 'practice matches' as well as entering some junior league teams and running internal competitions.
