A record breaking eighty-four players of all ages and abilities took part in Blaydon Tennis Club’s 13th annual Family Doubles Tournament on Monday 7th May. The weather duly obliged and a wonderful day was had by all who attended. The full ball event was contested by 11 pairs and the final was eventually won by Andy and Liv Clark, who beat Mark and Joel Taylor 6-3.

The Green Ball event was eventually won by Toby and Fiona Grant who beat Joseph and Mark McLaughlin 4-2. The Orange Ball final was contested by Colgan and Jill Thompson and Sofia and Adie Smith with the former winning 4-1. And finally, the Red Ball event was won by Bryan and Evan Gilmour who beat Finley and Dermot Thompson 10-3.
