Winter League 2018/2019-Format

The format for this year’s Winter League has been changed  and will operate as follows:-

1. There are two completely separate leagues operating this season- league 1 and league 2.
2. Players in league 1 will play all pairs in their league twice between 1st October 2018 and 31st March 2019 once on the astro courts and once on the clay courts.
3. Players in league 2 will play all pairs in their league twice between 1st October 2018 and 31st March 2019 once on the astro courts and once on the clay courts.
4. There is no cross-over between the two leagues.
5. Matches will be best of 2 sets with tie-breaks being played at 6-6 in each set.
6. Pairs will be awarded 1 point for each set won.
