LEIGHTON BAILEY has been crowned BLTC Easter Fun Tournament Champion.

The successful tournament – organised by Ruth and held on Easter Monday – attracted members of all kinds of ages and abilities.

Bailey (middle, above) was champion, with Jonathan Towse (left) and Alan Noble (right) as joint runners up.

Here is what Bailey had to say:

"Was a great day, with some tough matches. Really happy to come away with first place and win the prize. Although, I will say the eggs tasted better than the balls."

A very special thank you to Ruth for organising the Easter event. 

Bailey has entered three of the upcoming BLTC annual tournaments: Mixed doubles with Rachel Dekker, men's doubles with Laszlo Sagi, and men's singles. 

With the tournament matches kicking off imminently, Bailey’s comfortable victory on Easter Monday has made a strong statement to fellow tournament entrees.
