Emails

Further to the report last week about those who haven’t paid at least part of their 2025 fees not being able to receive emails, we have found a temporary solution so we can keep you up to date with the goings on at Boldon LTC. However, please be aware that this same upgrade will not allow you to book courts until your fees are at least partially paid. This is not us being awkward, but the way the ClubSpark system is set up. Linda is still in conversation with the techies to see if there is anything that can be done to help us small clubs who offer a longer grace period to pay fees.

Quiz Night Saturday March 1st

The next social event is our ever popular Quiz Night. The last one was over-subscribed so if you want a ticket let us know as soon as possible to bag your place. Email us at boldon.ltc@outlook.com. Home-made soup and stotties will be on offer for the £7 ticket price and the action starts at 7pm. See you there!

Club Nights

As well as the popular Sunday Social tennis (10am-12pm) there is a session on a Thursday night from 6.30pm. Both sessions are open to all Full and equivalent members and Juniors after approval by the coach. Just turn up and play. Meet new people, learn new skills and improve your play in a relaxed friendly setting. The nights are becoming noticeably lighter now so dust off those racquets and get out and play!

Social Tournament

If you want something a bit more competitive, or some match play practice before the season starts, why not join us for our first Social Tournament of the year on Saturday 1st March from 1pm? It’s all doubles play and you’ll have a different partner for each round. Just turn up. Open to all those members listed in “Club Nights” above. All standards welcome as the play will be handicapped. See you on court!
