Improvers Group Competition Day Sat 27th September 2025
A great end to the competitive season with the improver's Saturday group Competition with really tough matches, congratulations to all competitors and special thanks to the clubs social tennis volunteers for pairing up for the doubles teams. New Members Improvers Social Tennis
The induction course has now devloped into a Saturday Social Tennis Group 10.00 till 12.00
If any of our members are returning from injury or just want to have some fun and encourage new members, please join us Saturdays 10.00 till 12.00 from July 19th onwards
Any member interested will be welcome to join New Members Social Tennis Wattsapp group Tennis from Zero to Hero, this app is used to see who and how many are attending each week
The Basis Techniques Coaching course starts on Sunday 31st August and runs for 4 weeks from 12.00 till 1.00. The course is FREE for members and delivered by an accredited LTA Coach, it will be ideal for anyone who would like to improve any of their tennis basic shots. The coaching will be followed by a 1 hour social to practice the recieved training. Please register your interest with any of the committee.
Introduction
We are a growing friendly club based at Everyone Active's Silksworth Community Pool and Tennis Centre.
The Club was established before WW11, it was then reformed after the war in 1947 and moved to its current location in 1985
The club has 5 floodlit astro turf courts with good car parking facilities.
We are always delighted to welcome new members so whether it's to improve your game, play in league fixtures or just enjoy the wonderful game of tennis get involved now.
