In October, Bramhall’s brightest brains gathered at the tennis club to try and answer some fiendish questions set by Andrew Dearden and Steve Rhodes at the Bramhall Lane quiz night.

It was a close fought contest with the lead changing hands several times throughout the course of the evening. At the final reckoning, Val Bowen’s team were the winners with Nicola Jeffrey’s team finishing in second place.

Despite some tricky questions everyone appeared to enjoy themselves, even if they weren’t challenging for the prizes. And at half time the quizzers enjoyed a delicious cheese and cured meat platter prepared by Alex Pollitt that was worth the ticket price on its own.
