Bramhall Lane hosted the ladies Cheshire Shield on Sunday 22nd June. Coach Georgina Jackson put on her other hat and was tournament referee, the club provided delicious refreshments of strawberries, watermelon and brownies (plus other snacks), Debbie McKeever and Liz Sweeting were the two Cheshire representatives and we even provided some dappled sunshine. The tournament was open to any club in Cheshire, with each club providing two pairs. Congratulations to our pairs Katie Sidell & Abi Yates and Gaby McKeever & Sarah Richards who finished in 3rd place behind runners up, David Lloyd Cheshire Oakes and winners, Hale.
