Bramhall Lane offers a wide range of competitive inter-club tennis that is suitable for a wide range of standards from county to intermediate club level and they enter teams in several different format events.

The foremost of these is the North-East Cheshire Lawn Tenns League (NECLTL) which was formed in 1954 where Bramhall Lane was of the original group of clubs taking part in the first season and has competed in every season since then.

Senior Teams

The Club currently has five ladies and five men’s teams, in one of the largest and most competitive tennis leagues in the country. With this number of teams available, there is plenty of opportunity to find a team that suits your standard.  Matches are played in a doubles format, between April and late July, mostly on weeknights. Any senior member or junior with senior playing rights is eligible to play for the senior teams.

Additionally:

• The Club participates in the East Cheshire Winter League with four teams which runs from October to March. The matches are usually played at weekends and in a doubles format including a mixed round.
• The men enter a team in the National Club League which comprises both singles and doubles matches.

The Club enters teams in several knockout events, including the Acton Cup, Cheshire Shield and Cheshire Veterans.
