CLUB FACILITIES
We have two hard courts and two artificial clay courts, which are very popular with our members, and can be used, with care, even in light rain or frost. All have LED floodlights which operate until 10pm. Floodlights do not require tokens as are free to members all year round.
There is no charge for members to hire courts, and you can book them for up to two hours, two weeks in advance via our online booking system here. If you need a log-in please contact us. Members are welcome to bring guests as long as they are registered and a small fee is paid. More information can be found in the guest book in the clubhouse.
Our clubhouse is small but equipped with a kitchen including fridge and kettle, tables and chairs and a comfortable seating area with a view of the top two courts. There are picnic tables and benches outside for when the sun is shining.
There are toilets available in the Memorial Hall, pick up the key from the peg in the clubhouse. The clubhouse and courts are locked with a combination lock. Contact the Chairman or any member of the committee for the code. There is plenty of parking next to the courts.
Gray's Cafe & Bar in the Memorial Hall is very good value and offers a wide selection of hot and cold drinks, sandwiches, jacket potatoes, cakes and scones so you can refuel after a hard hit on the courts. There is a small outdoor seating area at the back.
There is also a squash club and a bowls club if you fancy trying something different!
