Free tennis sessions for any age and ability at Redcatch Park! BOOK PLACES HERE!

Anyone can play – Barclays Free Park Tennis is open to anyone looking to get started, improve their skills and enjoy free tennis
Play tennis for free – we’ll never charge you to play, just sign up for free each week and we’ll see you on court
Meet new people – Barclays Free Park Tennis is a group session, so you’ll get to meet and play tennis with a whole host of different people from your local area
We’ll provide rackets and equipment – it doesn’t matter if you haven’t played before, or if you don’t own a tennis racket – we’ve got you covered
Fun games and exercises – every session is packed with a variety of games to keep you active and progress your tennis skills
Free workout – each session will give you a free workout, get you outdoors and help you practice your game
Bring the family – if you’re looking for free things to do for the whole family, we’ve got you covered. Both adults and children can get involved and enjoy playing tennis together (children under thirteen should be accompanied by an adult).

When booking courts, you have two options:

Buy a membership which covers you for a whole year! PURCHASE MEMBERSHIP

Pay and Play at £5 per court, per hour

We welcome everyone of all ages and abilities to pick up a racket and get involved in some tennis.

We manage the tennis courts across 4 parks that you can access all year round.

There are currently booking restrictions on the courts. These restrictions are a maximum booking length of 1 hour and you can make a maximum of 4 bookings in a 7-day period. You may book 2 x1 hour slots in a row. You can book courts up to 7 days in advance.

We provide lots of opportunity to play tennis, whether you want to book a court to play tennis with a friend or learn a new skill, Parks Tennis offers something for everyone.

The tennis courts at the four parks of Eastville Park, Canford Park, Redcatch Park and St George Park are managed by the West of England Sport Trust (Wesport) on behalf of Bristol CIty Council. We manage the tennis courts in Bristol so that the whole community have access to high quality playing facilities at an affordable rate.

We invest any surplus back into supporting the charitable aims of Wesport.

Wesport will be working with a variety of community partners to provide access to these community facilites to spread the physical and mental benefits of tennis. Get in touch if your organisation would like to work with us.

It is important that you can cancel a court if you do not wish to use it. We have removed the cancellation "no refund" window for pay and play users, to encourage the cancellation of courts. If you do not use a court and fail to cancel the booking then a 7-day ban on booking courts will be applied to your account. GUIDE TO CANCELLING COURTS

Coaching is only permitted on the courts in any of the four parks (Eastville, Canford, Redcatch and St George) with the written consent of Wesport.
