Welcome to Broomfield Park

Introduction

Broomfield Park is a beautiful location for playing tennis and netball. Broomfield Park is one of Enfield’s larger parks and is located in Palmers Green.  It has excellent transport links with regular 121 and W6 bus services and the 616-school bus. Palmers Green train station is located directly across the road in Aldermans Hill and Arnos Grove Underground Station is a 20-minute walk from the park.

Nine courts have recently been refurbished. Floodlights have also been introduced meaning the courts can be used during evenings throughout the year. The courts are available for public use from 8:00am until 10:00pm every day.  The courts are free of charge from 8:00am until 5:00pm Monday to Friday and cost £5.50 per hour after 5:00pm during the week and all day at weekends. If floodlights are required there is an additional £2.90 payment. The booking system will calculate the correct payment as part of your booking and floodlights will come on automatically when it is dark.

As part of the booking process you will receive a four digit pin code to gain entry onto the courts. When park gates are locked at park closing time, the same four digit pin code is also be used to gain entry through  pin code access gate on Alderman's Hill.  The path from the gate on Alderman's Hill to the courts is lit.

If you are booking a court for netball within 48 hours of the booking taking place, along with booking and paying for your netball session, please email parkactivities@enfield.gov.uk and this will ensure the netball posts are put in place.

If you are a school or looking to book a netball court l please sign up using the membership tab. Casual netball bookings can be played on courts 7, 8 and 9. Netball hirers need to ensure that they have their own public liability insurance in place before using the courts.

In addition to the tennis courts and netball courts Broomfield park holds one of Enfield’s largest play areas but also boasts other major attractions such as a boating lake, outside gym, orchard, wetlands, multi-use games area, conservatory, sensory garden, remembrance garden, ornamental lakes and band stand. Adjacent to the tennis and netball courts the Palmers Greenery café, a volunteer-powered Community Cafe, offers a wonderful selection of drinks, snacks and homemade cakes.
