Coaching
Tennis coaching is a great way to meet new people and improve your game. Broseley Tennis Club offer group and individual coaching for complete beginners through to the seasoned player.
Our coaching provider is HighFive Tennis, led by LTA Accredited Head Coach Ian Gillespie.

Adults and Juniors attending coaching should be club members but for a player new to coaching we are pleased to offer a three week trial period before the commitment to join the club.
If an adult joins as an "Adult Coaching Only" member, then If the player upgrades their membership during the membership year, the cost will be reduced to take into account money already paid for coaching membership or guest fees.

Message from Ian Gillespie – Head Coach
It is with great pleasure to introduce myself and Highfive Tennis to Broseley Tennis Club. We are looking forward to progressing the Tennis coaching programme over the coming months building strong links with the schools and offering great sessions for our members.
A little about myself – I am an LTA Level 4 Performance qualified Tennis coach currently heading up Tennis programmes in schools and clubs in Shropshire. I have recently topped the charts delivering the most “Tennis For Kids” programmes locally and also topped retention rate stats. I am part of the county coaching team for the juniors, working on behalf of Tennis Shropshire LTA. I have also been selected as county coach mentor in helping local Tennis coaches to grow our game. In the last 3 years, I have also been the Head trainer of Ball Crew Teams (ball boys/girls) for professional ITF Tennis events up and down the country. The most local one being $25K Pro Series Event at Shrewsbury Club.
I have played tennis at regional / national level since the age of 10. The enjoyment of competing around the country is still a real joy for me! I have always supported the County Tennis teams either by playing for them or captaining most of them in most age groups. I am currently over 35 Men’s Shropshire captain which takes place at Eastbourne International during the summer months.
