Broseley Tennis Club is a hidden gem in this town and this has been a tremendous year for the club, both in terms of recruiting new members and the success of our teams.

Both men and ladies have two teams that play in the Shropshire Summer Leagues.  Our men’s 1st and ladies 1st have had very successful years with both having gained promotions this year. During the autumn we have two teams in the mixed doubles league and both are in the promotion places.

Our open day in July was a great success with many people from the area and further afield being welcomed to try out our facilities. A number of new members signed up, individuals, couples and families, and are now enjoying some  fun and friendly tennis.

Many of these new members now join us on our regular club sessions, which are Tuesdays and Thursdays 7pm and Saturday afternoons at 2pm. We also have men’s only and ladies only sessions during the week, plus our relaxed and friendly Friday morning session at 10.30 which is open to non-members. Coaching is also on offer with Highfive tennis arranged through our excellent level 4 coach Ian Gillespie.

You don’t need a partner to play, or even a racquet. If you are interested in having a go, contact us. All abilities welcome.
