LTA Safeguarding Standards

As a registered club with the governing body of tennis in Britain, it is the LTA's duty to promote the safety of all and for Bunbury Tennis Club to meet the minimum safeguarding standards. These standards are assessed every two years by a LTA Regional Safeguarding Officer. To be eligible for LTA registration, venues must achieve these standards. To find out more click here.

Reporting a Safeguarding Concern

What should I do if I have a concern about a child, young person or adult at risk?

If you do have a concern about abuse or the welfare of a child, young person or adult at risk, firstly please contact our Club Welfare Officer who will help you.

You can also report your concern to the LTA Safeguarding Team (anonymously if you wish) using the secure online form.

https://safeguardingconcern.lta.org.uk and contact your local authority children/adult services team. If the concern involves an immediate risk of harm plese call the police on 999.

Alternatively contact the LTA Safeguarding Team at safeandinclusive@lta.org.uk for advice around safeguarding or if you need to report a concern.

If someone is in immediate danger, call the police (999).

If you have a non-safeguarding concern or complaint, please review the LTA Complaints policy to ensure this is addressed in the most effective manner.
