The floodlights for court 1 are now available for use. Repair of the remaining 2 courts is expected to be complete in November.
Tucked away in this historic, picturesque village is Cawood Tennis Club.
Our first tennis court was completed in 1981, and the club was officially opened in 1991 by the Minister for Sport, Robert Atkins MP. We now boast three floodlit, all-weather hard courts, a practice wall, and a clubhouse with changing facilities.
Our club is affiliated with the LTA (Lawn Tennis Association). We warmly welcome Tennis and Pickleball players of all ages and abilities, offering club sessions, coaching, pickleball, tournaments, and events throughout the year. There's always something exciting to do here at Cawood Tennis Club.
There are a number of times during the week that organised sessions take place on the courts. Outside of these time members can turn up and play without booking.
Cawood has teams in a number of local leagues:

Captain Mens 1st : Andrew Bromley
