Founded in 1983, to provide financial support for junior tennis activities in Cheshire, the Youth Trust works closely with the Cheshire County LTA to ensure its limited resources are well spent.

We aim to be there from that first taste of mini tennis, through to the players reaching their full potential, helping where we can with financial support.

The Youth Trust relies on the generosity of its supporters in Cheshire and the fund-raising activities orgaised by the Cheshire County LTA Marketing Committee. We also have had generous financial support from local business sponsors. 

Every penny raised by our supporters at social events, with raffles and auctions (all the things that charities do) is devoted to junior tennis in Cheshire. We have no overheads or running costs and pay no expenses. The trustees and our valued band of helpers carry out their duties entirely free of charge.

The trustees meet half yearly to discuss numerous requests for bursaries and grants. Funds have been provided for, amongst other things, coach education, equipment purchase, individual player bursaries and general on-court activities for youngsters.

The Youth Trust has worked in partnership with Cheshire clubs, schools and local authorities where the cost of schemes has been shared.
