Welcome to Chipstead Tennis Club

There are five hard courts (three floodlit) plus a practice “wall”. These are available every day throughout the year unless booked for matches/coaching sessions or social events. Courts are booked on our website: https://clubspark.lta.org.uk/ChipsteadHardCourtTennisClubLtd

Padlocks are used on all gates to the courts. The current code will be issued with membership. The same code is used for the security gate in the driveway as well as for the Key Safe Box attached to the outside wall of the Clubhouse. If you are the last to leave, please ensure all gates and clubhouse door are locked.

Tokens for floodlights are available from the membership secretary. Tokens are £2.50 each for 30 minutes. There is no charge for use of floodlights on Tuesdays from 5pm onwards for adult club night. The lights are programmed to operate until 9pm on weekdays and 7pm on weekends.

The balls on the windowsill inside the clubhouse are only for adult club sessions – Sunday/Monday am, plus Tuesday pm. Please bring your own balls for any other play.

The Clubhouse has facilities for matches including showers, toilets and kitchen facilities. A table tennis table is available for members (bring your own bats and balls).

The Clubhouse must be kept tidy and locked when not in use. Keys are available from the membership secretary at a cost of £7.

A Defibrillator and First Aid box are located near the microwave on the right-hand side in the Clubhouse.

There are notice boards inside and outside the Clubhouse. These contain match/coaching, safeguarding details, social events, etc., and the Accident Report Book which must be completed after any serious injury/accident.

Non-marking trainers plus suitable tennis attire should always be worn – even in hot weather.

A rechargeable battery-powered leaf blower and brushes are kept in the Clubhouse. Please return after use.

All litter must be taken home or put in the dustbin by the side of the Clubhouse.

Children are not allowed to play on bicycles, skateboards, etc., on club premises. No dogs please.

Members are allowed to bring guests to the Club at a cost of £5.00 per adult and £2.00 per junior for each visit. Adult guests may only be invited by an adult member. Each guest may visit up to three times a year. The member must list each guest on the notice board outside the Clubhouse. The member will be invoiced with subscription renewal.
