As summer gives way to autumn and the nights start drawing in, our annual quiz comes as a bright spot in the Cholsey end-of-year calendar.  This is a major fund-raising event for the club and is always a great evening’s entertainment with food, drink, and a wonderful quiz hosted again by our old friend Josh.

The details

• Where: The Pavilion
• When: Friday 10th October - 7 pm for a prompt 7:30 pm start.
• How much?  £13.50 per person to be collected on the night.
• Cash or card?  Both, although cash preferred.
• Team size: 6 max.  If you haven’t got a full team, or there’s just you, let Jenny know and she’ll try and put you together with some others to make up a full team.
• Food:  Chilli/Veggie jacket potato included.  Bring your own snacks as well.
• Drink:  A bar serving draught Amwell Springs, a selection of other bottled beers, wine, and soft drinks.
• Entry deadline: As soon as possible please.

Other events coming up

• The annual tournament finals day is on Saturday 20th September.  Come along and see some great tennis from both juniors and adults, from 10 am onwards.
• Christmas Meal - This will be on Friday 5th of December at Memories of Bengal in the village.  We had a great time there last year and the food is excellent.  There’ll be reminders about this in the coming weeks but put it in your diaries now.
