Simon qualified back in 1999 and found himself working under Andy Schofield at Gerrards Cross(Bull Lane). Simon worked alongside a very good Junior setup with a high percentage moving onto County and National level. He stayed at Bull Lane for 2 years before coming home to his roots at Chorleywood LTC.

Here he has worked under various Head Coaches and with the right program has managed to get a few players to Top County.
