Congratulations to everyone and many thanks to all who came to support. It was a very enjoyable day. Special thanks go to the Committee members who helped with refreshments on the day and the coaches who organised the 'running schedule'. Presentations were made on the day, and the trophies have now gone to be engraved, for you to pick up from the chalet on your return.

As we are not having a Presentation Evening we have decided to have a Family Quiz night on November 18th, please put this date in your diaries and we hope to send more details out later. It will involve a Fish and Chip supper with teams of mixed age groups but teams of any age are welcome.

During the winter there will be an extra 'social' session at the club on Tuesday evenings. This will be more for playing friendly matches rather than drills and practices and everyone is welcome. Members pay £1 to cover the lights costs and non-members £5. It runs from 6.30-8.30

There is also a floodlit league running for doubles teams during the winter, the first session will begin soon but finish before Christmas. There will be a further session after Christmas and details will be put on the News section of the website for anyone to join in in the New Year

Please remember to look out for a message in your junk mail folder for a letter from the LTA to ask you to Opt-In. The more members that opt-in, the more Wimbledon tickets we will get for the club to put in our ballot.

Finally a special thanks goes out to Julie and Tim Lea for looking at the edge of the courts and getting rid of the weeds. There are so many maintenance jobs around the courts and we are very grateful to anyone who can spare any time to help.
