Clevedon Lawn Tennis Club are delighted to announce a new partnership with the Clevedon based Puro, Escala and Vintage & Vine Restaurant Group.

The partnership will initially help support the club's Junior Tennis initiatives.  On Saturday 3rd September there will be a Junior Open Day for current, previous & prospective players...a chance to visit the club, meet the coaching team and play on the courts with friends & family.  Ages 3-8, 10am-11am; 8-13, 11am-12pm; 13-18, 12pm-1pm.  

Also, in September, there will be the Junior Tennis Championships where club members will compete in different events, this year culminating alongside the Adult competitions on Sunday 25th September.  The events are for all club members so if you are a budding local player now is a great time to join and sign up to take part.

Head Coach, Matt Rogers, says "It's amazing to have support to help us run these events. I'm keen to increase the junior tennis opportunities at the club, in terms of coaching, competitive play and social activities.  Having grown up playing at the club, making lifelong friends, I know that this combination is what helps to build a love of the game.  Sponsorship from a local company, who share these goals, allows us to run things without needing to pass on costs to the players."

Restaurant proprietor Dom Lamy is a tennis player and fan. Having played to a high standard as a junior, he has recently returned to the game, and is excited to be involved with the club to help build for the future, and support players taking steps in to coaching and competitions. He said "Since setting up our businesses in Clevedon myself, Alex - my wife, and our boys have enjoyed being a part of the community, and are pleased that we can give back in a way that will support everyone from the young kids to adults. We are excited to sponsor the Clevedon Lawn Tennis Club and look forward to all the exciting changes the club will bring in the future”.

Clevedon LTC is also promoting Adult Play with a special offer...all Adult Group Coaching will be FREE throughout September, this includes daytime, evening and weekend groups for beginners, improvers, rusty rackets, club & league players.  The committee are keen to support the coaching programme and allow more people to join our "friendly club which offers tennis for everyone".
