The annual Tennis Vets tournament was held at Clevedon Tennis Club on Friday 20th April.  14 pairs from Bristol, Wiltshire and North Somerset had a great day's tennis, accompanied by excellent food and drink, superbly managed by Brenda Plummer, Molly Judge and Terry Wescott.

The tournament started in misty conditions, but finished in glorious sunshine.  The overall tournament winners were Theresa Russell and Martyn Lewis from the Central Club in Bristol, beating local players Mike Maiden and Brenda Plummer in the final.  Consolation events were won by Kim and Helen Stuckey (Chippenham) and Mandy Vickers and David Pratt (Clevedon).

A total of £500 was raised for the local branch of the Alzheimer's Society.
