Mini & Junior Tennis Coaching

Mini & Junior Tennis Coaching

Little Hitters

Our programmes are designed to get 3-5year olds active and learning new skills in an exciting and social environment.

They're full of activities, exercises and fun tennis games that use special equipment to build up physical 'ABCs' (Agility, Balance, Co-ordination), as well as basic technique.

Whether through Funny Feet, Super Sand Castles or Stamping the Parcel, your child will love their first taste of tennis!

Mini Tennis Red

For players aged 8 and under: small courts, short rackets and soft balls. Just like the real game, allows young players to have long rallies and play different types of shots.

Mini Tennis Orange

A great way for players to progress from Mini Reds tennis: slightly larger rackets, soft balls and mid-sized courts. Enables players to develop a rounded game, learning a range of techniques and tactics.

Mini Tennis Green

The next step up from Mini Orange: Full size courts, bigger rackets and balls slightly softer than full compression yellow. The last step before the full, fast game, helps players physically develop and improve all technical aspects.

Mini tennis coaching is one of the best ways to introduce children to tennis. Progressive technical steps and insightful coaching gives great confidence and quick improvements. Technical achievements and tennis instincts can then be taken into the full game, enabling a formidable head start.

Junior Tennis

Junior tennis coaching uses full-size courts and the classic yellow tennis balls you see zipping through the air at Wimbledon and tennis tournaments around the world. Aimed at players who are physically or technically able to learn at the full pace of a real tennis match.  Our Junior Tennis programme is an exciting stage where players begin to develop noticeable skill and tactical awareness. It is a natural progression for those who have attended Mini Tennis coaching programmes, but can also be a friendly and fun introduction to the sport for those who haven't had a chance to pick up a racket yet.
