CLUB MEMBERS

The courts are available for play throughout the year between 9.00 am and 9.30 pm.  When the courts are vacated, the net cords shall be slackened off and the gate is to be closed with the automatic lock.  Courts must be booked on-line, using the service provided by ClubSpark, accessed via the Club’s website.  On joining the club, Members (or the parent or guardian of a Junior Member)  will be sent a link to enable them to register with the service.  There is also a free ClubSpark ‘Booker’ app available for smartphones.

It is requested that Members should

  • not book a court for more than 2 hours in any one-day.
  • not book more than 2 sessions of up to 90  minutes each week
  •  cancel any booked courts if they know that they cannot use them.

Juniors under 12 years of age are to be accompanied by a Senior Member.

VISITORS
Visitors are always welcome but must be accompanied by a member of the club who must enter names into the Visitors sign-in sheet on the noticeboard or notify the Memebership Secretary. Visitors may play on a maximum of three occasions a year, to comply the terms of our insurance.  Members must pay the fees for their Visitors with their annual subscription (see rates below).

COURT ACCESS
Access to the tennis courts is available by combination lock. The access code will be provided when your membership is processed or may be obtained from the membership secretary.

FLOODLIGHTING
The floodlights operate on a timer system. The lights are timed to operate from 3.30 p.m. to 9.30 p.m. throughout the year. If you are on court when the lights time out PLEASE still switch them off otherwise they will automatically switch back on the following day. When the floodlights are switched off one stays on to act as a courtesy light, the courtesy light stays on for several minutes and will switch off automatically.

COURT AND CLUBHOUSE RULES
Players are requested to wear correct dress at all times (denim and jeans are not allowed on court). Non-marking rubber soled tennis shoes must be worn on court.
