A record number of tennis club volunteers turned out this year with at least 9 volunteers helping to paint the hut from 8am to 4pm (extra shout out to Sam and Ciro who painted most of the day), at least 6 volunteers cutting, weeding & strimming, Rachel keeping the volunteers going with tea and biscuits, Rachel & Carolyn coming the day before to help tidyup inside the hut, and Jon  going to Backwell tip and Weston for more paint.  Thank you for the additional cake and biscuits provided by other members.

At the same time the courts were busy with Tom running Junior coaching in parallel with a junior national league match involving 4 singles matchs and 2 doubles matches against Portishead.
