Congratulations to Martin Dibsdale for being awarded an "Unsung Hero Award" by Avon Tennis for his contributions to tennis.  Martin ran the men's teams for over 20 years up until 2025, increasing participation greatly.  

At times he was managing 5 men's teams in the summer North Somerset league, 2 in Avon league, winter men's teams, a vets (over 35's) and 2 mixed teams.  This including having the first team promoted to division 1 for the first time in history.  This increased participation, grew the membership, and helped put us in the strong position we are today, including a strong committee and excellent coaches who are growing the junior section.

A number of representatives from the tennis club joined Martin for his award at the Avon League BNO event.
