Safeguarding

We strive to ensure that all children, young people and adults at risk are safeguarded from abuse and have an enjoyable tennis experience.

Everyone who is involved in tennis has a shared responsibility to support this by promoting the welfare of all children, young people and adults at risk.

Tennis at Corwen is administered by Corwen  Community Tennis Club who's safeguarding policies and procedures can be seen via the links below.

How to report a safeguarding concern?

SEEN OR HEARD ANYTHING THAT MAKES YOU CONCERNED ABOUT SOMEONE’S WELFARE?

Our Welfare Officer is Joel Scott.  Joel has a wealth of Safeguarding experience, having spent much of his career as a secondary school teacher. Joel has coached junior cricket at Corwen for 20+ years and is kindly lending his expertise to Corwen Community Tennis. Joel is available to discuss any concerns.

Members who wish to raise a matter of concern may do so knowing that Joel will deal with it sensitively, confidentially, discreetly and with honesty of purpose.
