During February 2018, a great deal of work has been going on in the clubhouse to install central heating. The system will also provide hot water in the kitchen and changing rooms. It is hoped that this addition will enhance everyones enjoyment of the space by making it more comfortable and welcoming.

The heating is controlled by a thermostat located on the wall next to the ladies changing room. Please do not touch the boiler itself which is in the kitchen area.Please note the following instructions for operating the heating using the thermostat:

To switch the boiler on, move the slider, shown by the left arrow in the picture above, to the auto setting, (top). Move the rotary dial, shown by the arrow on the left, in the above picture, until the desired temperature is reached.

It is extremely important that the slider is returned to the standby setting, (bottom) before the last person leaves the clubhouse in order to prevent the boiler using gas unnecessarily.

Please note that the thermostat should only be operated by an adult.
