Adult Tennis Coaching

Have you ever fancied picking up a racket and playing tennis? We have a great opportunity for you to give tennis a go with a number of different programmes available at Dunstable tennis club.

Adult Beginners(Tennis Xpress)

A six week beginner’s programme will cover all the basics and will be a great introduction and fun way to start playing,

The aim is to help starter adults to serve, rally and score from the first session and to ensure that by the end of the course:
 

  • You will know the basic techniques, tactics and the Rules of Tennis
  • Be able to play competitive points on a full court

For the purpose of this course, adult starter players are defined as those who:
 

  • are complete beginners to tennis i.e. have never played tennis before, or
  • who have received basic coaching but have never played the game outside of a coaching environment, or
  • beginners returning to tennis after a long absence

Rusty Racquets(Adult improvers)

Used to play tennis but a little rusty? Why don’t you banish those cobwebs & get back on court!
 

  • Want to brush up on your tennis skills?
  • Have fun whilst meeting new people?
  • Increase your exercise levels?
  • And most of all… enjoy a game of tennis?

Then the Rusty Rackets Tennis Group is for you!

Our ‘Rusty Rackets’ sessions are designed for people who want to return to tennis. A very popular course for those who have been out of the sport for some time and need to brush up on their skills. These sessions prove very popular throughout the year and will give you the opportunity to play with people of the same ability.

Cardio Tennis

This session is a fun group fitness sessions focus on speed, agility & stregnth. You can work at your own pace and it's a really great way to get fit. No tennis experience needed, just plenty of running and plenty of  hitting tennis balls.

 

Pair & Play( ladies only)

Pair & Play is doubles tennis with double the fun. Held weekly, the programme is designed to help women improve their skills and confidence on the court.
