Beginner… For players new to tennis or who have only played a few times before and want to build on the basics of the game.

Improver… For players who play a handful of times a year or haven’t played for a while. They can hit the ball over the net and in the court for a short rally but still make mistakes and may struggle sometimes when serving.

Intermediate… For those who play or used to play fairly regularly. Can rally over the net comfortably with forehands and backhands, whilst controlling the direction and depth of the ball. Knows how to position themselves on court and how to score.

Advanced… For those who have played a lot of tennis over many years - can rally consistently and construct points, serving with spin, placement and power.
