touchtennis at Criccieth Tennis Club

Come and try touchtennis at Criccieth Tennis Club. One of the fastest growing racket sports in the world. Essentially a smaller version of tennis sharing all the same technique and scoring structure.

The rackets are 21" inch and are lightweight, the ball is a dense sponge ball (ideal for longer rallies).  The sport can be played at a very high level with many players competing at a pro-level.

However, touchtennis can be enjoyed by everyone, all ages and abilities from juniors to seniors.

For our senior players it offers less stress around the impact that traditional tennis can have on joints and mobility.  

Everything is lighter from the rackets, to the balls and the surface here at Criccieth being grass which is low-impact.

For juniors, it's the perfect sport to home your techique whilst having touchtennis battles with your friends.

Adult touchtennis can be played at our club and also at the many venues across Europe and the USA and Middle East. We hold club tournaments at regular times and there is a very active touchtennis tour across the UK so there's plenty of competitions to enter.
