Welcome
Croftside is a friendly tennis club established in the 1930s, set in a lovely peaceful location in south Wilmslow. We have 3 well-maintained astroturf courts with floodlights which are readily available for use to members all year round, and a new clubhouse equipped with full catering, showering & changing facilities.

About
All standards and ages are very welcome, including complete beginners who can book ‘rusty racquets’ coaching with our club coach Tom Hunt. There is a strong family atmosphere at the club and a warm welcome for everyone. There are a number of league teams to play in, and we have a strong junior section. We have a number of family fun nights in the summer and social mixed tennis. Events are organised through the season and the club tournament runs from June – September.
We are a social and inclusive community run tennis club and we like to have fun on and off the courts.
We offer both junior and senior coaching. Junior coaching is with our own professional coach Tom Hunt on Saturday mornings throughout the year and later on weekday afternoons after school in the summer. Tom also runs ‘rusty racquets’ coaching sessions for seniors on Tuesday mornings, Wednesday evenings and Saturday afternoon.
We have 4 mens' teams, 2 ladies' teams and 10 junior teams from under 8’s to under under 18’s. We are always looking to welcome new players of all levels.
We are always keen to attract new members of all abilities, from beginners and improvers to members who want to play team tennis.
As a family focused club, we offer very competitive membership rates for families.
